Search Functionality Added To PS3 Netflix
Jul 26, 2010
Joystiq reports that the Netflix streaming application for the PlayStation 3 just received a handy little update that enables searches for the entire Netflix library.
Previously, the only way for console viewers to browse movies outside of the Netflix queue was by digging through specific genre categories and recommendation lists. As anyone who's used the service can attest, this wasn't exactly the most convenient way to find what you're looking for.
The update allows you to sift through the full Netflix catalog by letter or by typing out the title of a movie. Similar functionality should be headed to the Xbox 360 version of the Netflix app sometime in November.
